This 4-week course will include clay preparation and throwing techniques including centering, raising, how to form shapes, turning/trimming (such as removing any excess clay on your pots and creating a foot ring using a variety of turning tools), attaching handles and glazing your final pieces.
I encourage all my students to bring some images of shapes that they want to learn and we can break it down.
You will have made several functional pieces by the end of the workshop which will be returned to you within 2 weeks from the end of your course.
Each class will have a small group of 4 people.
